Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your AEG Dishwasher.
Regular Cleaning
Ensure that the filters are cleaned regularly to maintain optimal performance. Remove any built-up debris from the filters and rinse them under running water. Do this cleaning every month to avoid blockages.
Check and Fill Dishwasher Salt
Regularly check the salt levels in your dishwasher's salt container. Refill it with dishwasher salt as needed to prevent limescale buildup, especially if you have hard water. This helps in maintaining the efficiency of the water softener.
Use of Rinse Aid
Keep the rinse aid dispenser filled to ensure that your dishes come out spot-free and dry. Adjust the dosage setting if you notice drops of water or lime spots on your dishes after washing.
Monthly Maintenance Wash
Run a maintenance wash at 65°C without any dishes and using detergent every three months. This helps to clean out any residual detergent and food particles that may have accumulated.
Check Water Inlet and Outlet Hoses
Regularly inspect the water inlet and outlet hoses to ensure they are not kinked or squashed. This ensures proper water flow and prevents draining issues.
